The Centre of History (CH-ULisboa) of the University of Lisbon, the Portuguese Centre for Global History (CHAM) of the NOVA University of Lisbon and the Centre for Administration and Public Policies (CAPP) of the University of Lisbon are pleased to be hosting the 1st International Meeting on Histories of Nature and Environments: Perspectives and Dialogues, in Spring 2017.

The conference is being organised with constant concern about the human impact on the environment, not just historical but present. It is our aim that this meeting has an ecological footprint as low as possible and accordingly the conference participants' identifiers, fully recycled and customised, will be made by students of Helen Keller school within the project Ecologic School, (Projecto Eco-Escola), water will be offered by EPAL within the project Fill Forever and coffee breaks will be supported by BioMimos and Pastéis de Belém.
